To Jay Denes and Dave Booneshaft it’s all about making good and honest music.  As a longtime ass-shaking Naked Music label supporter I was Intimidated by the cultivators of progressive music, and amazing artists with that classic-‘it’s never going to go out of style sound’, I prepared myself for the experience.  I imagined a hot receptionist with a voice like the intro on the Nude Dimensions 7 album saying “Enterer el Numero des Nuda”.  Envisioning a fancy studio with fancy shit that had nothing to do with music.

 

I walked in with intimidation and left feeling humbled by the comfort of knowing that there are good people who make good music.  I had forgotten that such good music comes from art - Jay and Dave personify just that.  My time spent was all about the Naked Music vibe, their independence from EMI and what most people don’t know about the men behind the music.
